  • 1/4 c hemp hearts

  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp iodized sea salt

  • 1 lemon, zested

  • 2 oz parmigiano reggiano- finely grated

  • 1 tbls mustard

  • olive oil

  • halibut fillets

INSTRUCTIONS

Here’s how to make Hemp Heart Crusted Halibut at home.

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F

  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper

  3. Cut halibut filets in half long ways. Lightly coat in olive oil and sprinkle with a little salt

  4. On a shallow plate mix the hemp hearts, Italian seasoning, onion powder, iodized sea salt, lemon zest, and finely grated parmigiano reggiano. Using your hand, swirl the dry ingredients together to create the topping

  5. Using a pastry brush, coat one side of the fish in the mustard and then dip that side in the plate of hemp heart mixture and place on prepared baking sheet with hemp mixture facing up

  6. Bake in oven for 8 minutes.

  7. Use remaining lemon to mist over cooked fish
